Dezember ist die Zeit der Listen: die besten Tools des Jahres, die tollsten Start-Ups, die schrägsten Typen … Und so auch bei ReadWriteWeb: Top 10 Enterprise Web Products of 2008. Bemerkenswerter Weise haben es in diese Liste gleich zwei Wiki-System geschafft: Atlassian Confluence und Mindtouch Deki. Der Autor, Bernard Lunn, beschreibt dabei den Markt als »wiki++«:

We added "++" to "wiki" because the leading vendors are rapidly incorporating micro-blogging, social networking, forums, and other collaboration tools. Integration is key, so we see this market moving towards suites, but with wiki at the core.

In Stewart Maders Blog kommentierte das Chris Yeh von PBwiki.com: »I like to describe the wiki as the glue for the organization. It’s the context, the environment, the foundation for collaboration. And it should allow you to glue in additional functionality.«
